Accessibility statement for The Document Accessibility Academy (TDAA)
The Document Accessibility Academy (TDAA) is committed to making our website accessible and usable for as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to use our content, including people who use screen readers, voice control, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers, or who have cognitive or visual access needs.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, across all pages. This includes:
- clear structure and headings
- meaningful and descriptive link text
- high‑contrast colours and readable text
- keyboard‑accessible navigation and controls
- alt text for all meaningful images
- consistent layout and predictable interactions
How accessible this website is
Most of this website is fully accessible. We regularly review and improve our pages to keep them usable for all visitors. When we identify accessibility issues, we work to fix them as quickly as we reasonably can.
Feedback and contact information
If you experience any accessibility barriers on the TDAA website, or if you need information in an alternative format (for example, accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio description, or Braille), please contact us:
Email: thedocumentamigos@gmail.com
We aim to respond to accessibility enquiries within 5 working days.
Ongoing improvements
We regularly review our content, design, and code to maintain and improve accessibility. As the Academy grows and new features are added, we will update this statement to reflect changes and improvements.
